Carly is a licensed acupuncturist in the state of Maryland. She graduated from the Virginia University of Integrative Medicine and holds a Master's of Science in Acupuncture. Prior to studying acupuncture, she received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Towson University. Carly is passionate about mental health and has worked in mental health residential crisis programs as well as outpatient community services. Carly was first introduced to acupuncture as a patient while receiving treatment for chronic pain. She was deeply inspired by how acupuncture helped her on a mental-emotional-spiritual leven in addition to helping her regain her quality of life through pain relief.
Carly is devote to assisting her patients on their healing journey. She is a firm believer that acupuncture is a beautiful, ancient medicine that can offer many solutions to our modern day concerns. As an acupuncturist, she believes in each patient's capacity for self-healing and that the body has an inner knowing of how to achieve balance and harmony. Carly specializes in pain conditions, digestive concerns, and mental health issues - including insomnia, anxiety and depression.
